The Xi3 Modular Computer has the same processing power of most full-size desktop PCs and Workstations, but uses as little as 5% of the power to operate, has no moving parts and can easily be adapted or modified for any application or industry. No moving parts and less than 30 Watts of heat means your purchase lasts longer and has far less likelihood of failure as compared to a conventional PC.
The Modular Computer can also be used as a "Power Cloud Client" as it offers a powerful alternative for cloud applications currently using Thin Clients.
The Xi3-based Modular Computer is also great as a customized PC/Workstation replacement providing better reliability, longer product life and less power consumption. In most cases, the Modular Computer will pay for itself, in energy consumption alone, when used as a replacement for existing PC/Desktop solutions.
Xi3 provides further energy and cost savings by sharing the processing power of the modular computer with up to 3 additional users. This is accomplished by connecting inexpensive Xi3 Z3RO Modules using USB cables.
